Befriending can help reduce feelings of social isolation and loneliness, improve mental and physical health, increase confidence and self-esteem, and enhance the quality of life for people needing more assistance with going out and about into the community.
All our befriending staff obtain a full UK driver’s license and provide their own fully insured vehicles. This means they can take your grandad where he wishes safely and effectively.
Yes, we do. We offer a holiday cover for the times and calls you require. We will come out and meet your parents and find out exactly what care your parents require!
That’s fine, as we offer a low-cost transport service to pick you up from home and drop you back off!
We do! We can incorporate light housework duties into all care packages. These include hoovering, dusting, and washing dishes.
Some people may get funding from their local authority, towards all the services we provide. If you would like any information on this, please speak to your Social Worker (if you have one) or call your local authority who will be happy to help with this. Alternatively, if already have an active social worker or you would like to pay privately for your care, please get in touch.
We do! Our Home Care service would be able to help and support your Grandad with administering medication. Medication would have to be in a medibox for us to assist with this service. If you get in touch with your pharmacist, this is a service they do.
We do! We provide a befriending service who will accompany your mother to any appointment on your behalf. We provide a service where our care staff will collect your mother, take her to the appointment and drop her back off home.
Our onsite cook makes a 2-course meal daily at Day Centre which costs an additional £3.50. This includes your 2 course homecooked meal and also, teas, coffees and biscuits throughout the day.
